Mamelodi Sundowns’ MTN8 triumph features in Soccer Laduma caption contest

Mamelodi Sundowns claimed their first domestic trophy under coach Miguel Cardoso by beating Orlando Pirates 2-0 in the MTN8 final at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday evening.

Teboho Mokoena opened the scoring before Iqraam Rayners converted a penalty to secure victory for the Chloorkop-based side.

The match is featured in Soccer Laduma’s popular ‘Pic of the Week’, a regular feature that has proved a hit with readers across the publication’s editions.

Readers are being invited to create the headline or caption that will accompany the photograph. Entrants can write whatever they believe best captures the moment, whether it is funny, inspiring or written in any other style.

Soccer Laduma will choose the headline it considers most appropriate and publish it alongside the ‘Pic of the Week’, with the selected writer’s name included.

Entries should be submitted in the comments section below. Readers can then check this week’s edition of Soccer Laduma to see whether their headline has been chosen.
