CS Sfaxien part ways with head coach Nabil Kouki

Tunisian club CS Sfaxien have parted ways with head coach Nabil Kouki and his technical staff by mutual consent, five days before their league meeting with Esperance.

The club confirmed the decision in an official statement on Monday, announcing the termination of Kouki’s contract alongside those of all members of the first-team technical staff.

Sfaxien thanked Kouki and his assistants for their efforts during their time at the club and wished them success in their future sporting and professional careers.

The Tunisian side did not disclose the reasons behind the separation but said details of the new first-team coaching staff would be announced later through its official communication channels.

Kouki’s departure comes at a crucial stage of the campaign, with Sfaxien preparing to face Esperance in the Tunisian league before turning their attention to an African Confederation Cup fixture against Djekanou.

The coaching change leaves the club facing an immediate task of appointing a new technical team ahead of the upcoming matches.

Sfaxien currently sit sixth in the Tunisian league standings, with eight points from their opening five matches of the season.
