Arsenal came from behind to beat Leeds United 2-1 on Saturday and move temporarily to the top of the Premier League table.
Leeds took the lead after 55 minutes when Gabriel Gudmundsson sent a low cross into the area from the left. The ball evaded the Arsenal defence and reached James Justin, who finished into an unguarded net.
Arsenal responded seven minutes later. Ben White directed a header across the penalty area towards Riccardo Calafiori, who made no mistake from close range to bring the visitors level.
The Gunners completed the turnaround in the 70th minute following a flowing move involving several Arsenal players. Declan Rice’s backheel released Bruno Guimaraes, whose powerful low shot went beyond the Leeds goalkeeper and found the net.
The victory takes Arsenal on to 15 points from six matches, level with Manchester City, although they sit top of the table temporarily. Leeds United remain fifth with nine points.
