FC Barcelona training shirts unveil new ‘DRC, Hope and Future’ message

FC Barcelona’s training sessions have revealed a new visual feature on the club’s kit, with the shirts now carrying a message directly highlighting the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The latest shirts worn by the Barcelona players display the wording “DRC, Hope and Future”. The new design replaces the tourism-focused slogan “DRC, Heart of Africa”, which had previously appeared on the Blaugrana’s training wear.

The change forms part of the strategic partnership between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Spanish multisport club, which aims to promote the country’s image internationally.

The revised message is intended to increase the visibility of the country brand through FC Barcelona’s communication platforms and equipment. By focusing on the ideas of hope and the future, the campaign seeks to present a dynamic image centred on development.
