Ghanaian winger Christopher Bonsu Baah was on target as Al Qadsiah secured a commanding 5-0 victory over Al Kholood in Round 8 of the Saudi Pro League.

Bonsu Baah doubled Al Qadsiah’s lead in the 13th minute, finishing from close range after a low cross from Julian Quinones.

The Ghanaian played the entire match and delivered an impressive performance, earning a rating of 9.0 — the second-highest among all players who featured in the contest.

Al Qadsiah dominate from the start

Al Qadsiah made a fast start, taking the lead in the fourth minute through Tijjani Reijnders, who finished after being set up by Mateo Retegui.

Bonsu Baah extended the visitors’ advantage nine minutes later, converting Quinones’ delivery to put Al Qadsiah firmly in control.

The visitors added a third goal in the 40th minute, with Al Juwayr finding the net to give his side a comfortable three-goal cushion before half-time.

Missed penalty and late goals complete rout

Al Kholood had an opportunity to reduce the deficit in the 64th minute after being awarded a penalty. However, Iker Kortajarena failed to convert from the spot.

Al Qadsiah punished the missed opportunity three minutes later, with Retegui getting on the scoresheet to make it 4-0.

Quinones completed the rout in the 86th minute, converting a Panenka-style penalty to seal an emphatic victory.

The result capped a dominant display from Al Qadsiah, with Bonsu Baah making a significant contribution as the Ghanaian continued to impress in Saudi Arabia.
