Paris FC extend Mali defender Adama Camara’s contract until 2028
Paris FC have announced a contract extension for Malian international right-back Adama Camara, keeping the defender at the club until June 2028.
The 29-year-old was previously contracted to the newly promoted Ligue 1 side until 2027 but has now committed to an additional season following his importance to the team.
Camara has established himself as a key figure in the Parisian squad, delivering consistent performances since the beginning of the 2026-27 campaign.
The defender has played every minute of Paris FC’s opening five Ligue 1 matches this season, underlining his importance to the team’s defensive setup.
His continued involvement reflects the trust placed in him by the coaching staff as the club seeks to establish itself in France’s top flight following promotion.
Born in Bondy, Camara joined Paris FC in the summer of 2023 without having previously progressed through a traditional youth academy system. He quickly made his mark and developed into one of the club’s dependable performers.
The Malian was an important member of the squad that secured promotion to Ligue 1 at the end of the 2024-25 season, helping Paris FC achieve their objective of returning to the French top flight.
Since making the step up, he has continued to contribute, recording 34 Ligue 1 appearances and scoring once.
Across all competitions, Camara has made 109 appearances for Paris FC, registering six goals and one assist.
His performances have also earned him recognition at international level, with the right-back earning his first cap for Mali.
The contract extension represents a show of confidence in Camara’s contribution and secures his future at the club for another season as Paris FC continue their development in Ligue 1.
