Jamal Malinzi Isha emerged victorious in the election for the presidency of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF), securing 73 votes against 53 for his opponent Athumani Nyamlani, the 1st vice president of the outgoing office. Jamal Malinzi Isha, a businessman, is set to lead the TFF with a focus on developing young national talents, ensuring transparent management of the federation, and promoting women’s football.
Issa Hayatou, the president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), congratulated Jamal Malinzi Isha on his election victory. Hayatou expressed best wishes for success and assured the new TFF leadership of CAF’s support in accomplishing their mission.
