Ethan Mbappe linked with Fenerbahce move from Lille

French-Cameroonian winger Ethan Mbappe is being linked with a move from Lille to Turkish club Fenerbahce, with the 19-year-old under contract in France until June 2027.

Mbappe has made five Ligue 1 appearances for Lille this season, scoring once, and also registered an assist in his only Champions League appearance. He has started 80% of Lille’s league matches and 100% of their Champions League games.

The right winger joined Lille from Paris Saint-Germain’s under-19 side in July 2024 on a free transfer. He had been part of the PSG squad that won the French league, French Cup and French Super Cup during the 2023-24 season, while also winning the French Under-19 title.

Mbappe, who was born in Montreuil and is valued at €12m, is a left-footed attacker who operates primarily on the right. His current deal means Lille are not facing an immediate expiry pressure, with the contract running through the end of the 2026-27 campaign.

Fenerbahce are the club currently linked with a potential move to the Super Lig, although the rumour does not include a confirmed transfer fee or indication that negotiations have reached an advanced stage. For now, Mbappe remains a Lille player with a contract in place until 30 June 2027.
