Kylian Mbappe returns to training amid Paris trip
Kylian Mbappe has returned to training with Real Madrid, but his brief trip to Paris has once again attracted attention in the Spanish media.
The France captain resumed work at Valdebebas on Monday after several days of recovery. However, according to reports, he travelled to the French capital on Tuesday, just hours after completing a training session with Madrid.
Neither Real Madrid nor Mbappe’s representatives have publicly explained the trip. OK Diario reported that the forward travelled to Paris to take part in a charitable activity involving sick children through his foundation, although that information has not been officially confirmed.
Journalist Marcos Benito reported on El Chiringuito that Mbappe trained for just over an hour before leaving Madrid at around 11am. He was reportedly back in the Spanish capital before 9pm the same day.
On the pitch, Mbappe has enjoyed another prolific start to the campaign. He has scored eight goals and provided two assists in eight appearances across all competitions in 2026/27, including seven goals in seven La Liga matches and one Champions League goal.
With Real Madrid preparing to face Villarreal, Mbappe will be hoping the focus soon returns to his performances rather than his movements away from the pitch.
