Despite recent issues involving Rainford Kalaba, Stoppila Sunzu, and Nathan Sinkala, TP Mazembe remains committed to recruiting Zambian players, as evidenced by the official announcement of Kabaso Chongo’s arrival. Chongo, a 21-year-old defender, previously played for Konkala Mines Police FC in Zambia.
Recognized as a promising talent, Kabaso Chongo’s qualities have captured the attention of TP Mazembe, and he is set to sign a five-year contract with the club owned by Moïse Katumbi. The announcement of his arrival brings satisfaction to the club and its coach, Patrice Carteron, who expressed their eagerness to build one of the continent’s strongest teams capable of competing in the next CAF Champions League.
