Rachid Taoussi, who had previously announced his departure as the coach of Morocco, now claims to have been reappointed for one year. He stated that his contract includes a tacit renewal clause, making him the coach of the Atlas Lions until September 2014. Taoussi mentioned that there is no continuity within the federation, and he is obligated to remain in his position. However, he added that the decision to retain him ultimately rests with the new president of the FRMF (Royal Moroccan Football Federation). If the new president decides otherwise, there could be an amicable termination of the contract.
