Mituy Domingo has received the blessing of Issa Hayatou, president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), after being elected the new president of the Union of Central African Football Federations (Uniffac). Hayatou expressed hope that Domingo would use his experience and skills to address the various problems of Uniffac and foster a positive and constructive climate among its members for the benefit of African football. Uniffac is one of the five zonal unions under CAF, along with Ufoa (West Africa), Cecafa (East and Central Africa), Cosafa (Southern Africa), and Unaf (North Africa).
