Soccer Laduma invites readers to choose the ‘Pic of the Week’ headline

Soccer Laduma is asking readers to create the caption for its popular ‘Pic of the Week’ feature.

The photograph appears in every edition of the publication and has long proved popular with its audience. Readers are invited to study the image and submit a headline that they believe best captures the moment.

The winning entry will be selected by Soccer Laduma and published alongside the photograph, with the contributor’s name included. Entries can be humorous, inspiring or written in any style that suits the picture.

The invitation comes after Bafana Bafana recorded a 1-0 victory over Egypt in Pitso Mosimane’s third match as South Africa coach.

Mosimane, who succeeded Hugo Broos, has won all three of his matches since taking charge of the national team. The former SuperSport United mentor’s perfect start provides the latest football context for the feature.

Readers can submit their suggested headlines in the comments section and check this week’s edition of Soccer Laduma to see whether their entry has been selected.
