Lamine Yamal and Haaland lead Mbappe in world’s most valuable players
Lamine Yamal and Erling Haaland remain the world’s two most valuable footballers, with both players holding a market value of €220m following the latest Transfermarkt update.
Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe is third on the list at €200m, leaving him behind the Barcelona teenager and Manchester City striker.
The latest market-value update was released on Monday, with no change to the valuations of the top three players.
Yamal continues remarkable start
Yamal’s valuation comes after another impressive start to the season for the 18-year-old Barcelona forward.
He has scored eight goals and provided six assists in eight appearances for Barcelona, while also contributing four goals and one assist in three matches for Spain.
His performances have helped maintain his position at the top of the market-value rankings alongside Haaland.
The Manchester City striker has scored seven goals in seven appearances so far this season.
Yamal and Haaland previously made history by becoming the first players to have their market values rise above €200m.
Olise moves closer to Bellingham
France and Bayern Munich forward Michael Olise has climbed to fourth in the latest rankings after his valuation increased from €170m to €180m.
Jude Bellingham remains fifth at €160m, while Barcelona midfielder Pedri is valued at €150m in sixth place.
Pedri is also Barcelona’s second-highest valued player behind Yamal.
Vinicius value drops
Joao Neves, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Vitinha occupy seventh place jointly, with each player valued at €140m.
Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior has moved in the opposite direction after his market value fell by €10m, from €140m to €130m.
Despite the decrease, the Brazil international remains among the world’s 10 most valuable players.
