Egypt manager Hossam Hassan has made two changes to his starting line-up for the international friendly against South Africa at Cairo Stadium.
The match, which brings Egypt’s current international break to a close, is scheduled to kick off at 21:00.
Karim Hafez comes into the side at left-back in place of Ahmed Fattouh, who started in the 5-0 win over South Sudan. Ibrahim Adel also replaces Haitham Hassan.
Mohamed Salah, Mohamed Abdelmonem and Haitham Hassan are unavailable after leaving the Egypt camp.
Mostafa Shobeir starts in goal, with Mohamed Hany, Hossam Abdelmagid, Rami Rabia and Hafez forming the defence.
Marwan Attia, Mohand Elash and Emam Ashour make up the midfield, while Adel, Omar Marmoush and Mostafa Ziko are named in attack.
Egypt’s substitutes are Mehdy Soliman, Mohamed Alaa, Abdel Aziz El-Balouty, Tarek Alaa, Omar Fayed, Ahmed Fattouh, Mahmoud Saber, Ali Mahmoud, Ahmed Sayed “Zizo”, Osama Faisal and Hamza Abdelkarim.
Egypt began the current international break with two matches in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying competition. They drew 0-0 with Angola before beating South Sudan 5-0.
