Kaizer Chiefs produced a second-half comeback to defeat Mamelodi Sundowns 4-2 at Dobsonville Stadium and maintain their perfect start to the DStv Diski Challenge season.
Sundowns appeared in control after taking a two-goal lead before the interval, with Simphiwe Mlondo and Lehlohonolo Mahlangu finding the net.
But Chiefs responded strongly after the break. Benjamin Eliyahu pulled one goal back before Samkelo Msimango drew the sides level. Neo Bohloko then put the Amakhosi ahead, and Kamogelo Malefo completed the turnaround.
The result gives Chiefs two wins from two matches, while Sundowns suffered their first defeat of the campaign.
Chiefs had begun the season by beating defending champions Orlando Pirates in the Soweto derby. Sundowns, meanwhile, had opened with victory against Durban City.
Arrows claim first victory
Golden Arrows recovered from their disappointing opening weekend by beating Polokwane City 3-2 at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Hlumelo Mandla scored twice for the KwaZulu-Natal side, while Diego Gumede added the decisive goal as Arrows secured their first win of the season.
Gallants held by Sekhukhune
Marumo Gallants remain without a victory after being held to a 1-1 draw by Sekhukhune United at the TUT Stadium in Tshwane.
Gallants had been looking to respond after losing to Kruger United last weekend. Sekhukhune, known as Babina Noko, were aiming to follow up their opening-day win against Siwelele FC.
The teams had to settle for a share of the points, with both goals scored in the first half. Mazele was on target for Sekhukhune.
Milford win battle of promoted clubs
Milford FC recorded their first victory of the campaign with a 3-1 win against Kruger United at the Princess Magogo Stadium.
The match brought together two newly promoted sides, and Kruger United led at half-time after a strong opening period.
Milford, however, changed the course of the game quickly after the restart. Likhona Fatyela levelled the contest before Siphamandla Mhlongo and Okuhle Majavu completed the comeback for the hosts.
