Argentina 5-0 Burkina Faso: Albiceleste in firm control at half-time

Argentina lead Burkina Faso 5-0 at half-time in the international friendly at the Mas Monumental in Buenos Aires on Sunday.

The Albiceleste took control early against a heavily changed Burkina Faso side and dominated the opening period.

Argentina’s attacking strength repeatedly exposed weaknesses in the Etalons’ defensive structure. Burkina Faso have struggled to match their opponents in the challenges and have been unable to retain possession for sustained periods.

Razack Guira has made several saves in the Burkina Faso goal despite conceding five times, preventing the deficit from becoming even larger.

The Etalons must now attempt to respond after the interval.
