Oman must beat Kuwait and hope Iraq slip up to reach Gulf Cup semi-finals

Oman face Kuwait in the third round of the Gulf Cup “Gulf 27” at Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium, with their semi-final hopes dependent on victory and Iraq dropping points.

Kuwait have already been eliminated after losing to Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Oman, meanwhile, are aiming to finish the group stage with a win that could take them into the last four if Iraq fail to secure the required result.
