2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying: Congo v Cameroon to be played behind closed doors

Congo’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Cameroon in Brazzaville on Tuesday, 29 September will be played without supporters.

A statement published on the official Congo national team page confirmed that entry to the Alphonse Massamba-Debat stadium will be restricted to accredited people. Fans will therefore be unable to attend the second-day fixture or take their places in the stands.

The decision comes while work is being carried out at the stadium to bring the venue in line with CAF requirements, including standards relating to safety and the reception of spectators.
