Guinea v Kenya: Probable line-ups revealed for 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier

Guinea and Kenya meet at the Stade du 28-Septembre in Conakry on Thursday, 1 October 2026, in the second round of qualifying for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.

Both sides are expected to make only limited changes to their previous selections, with Guinea relying on the attacking threat of Serhou Guirassy and Kenya retaining the players who started against Eritrea.

Manzur Okwaro is likely to keep his place in midfield despite making the mistake that led to Eritrea’s goal. McCarthy has publicly backed the player and confirmed his continued confidence in him.

The visitors are expected to field Job Ochieng, Ryan Ogam and Micah Obiero as their attacking trio.
