Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies extend Hollywoodbets Super League lead with 4-0 win

Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies moved eight points clear at the top of the Hollywoodbets Super League after beating Copperbelt Ladies 4-0 in a catch-up fixture at Baroka Village.

The match was the only game played in the league this past weekend. Sundowns and the Limpopo-based side had each played one match fewer than the other teams in the Super Era stream because the defending champions were involved in the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League COSAFA qualifiers last month.

Godfrey Sapula’s side maintained their perfect start to the season with another commanding performance, taking their tally to 27 points from nine matches.

Melinda Kgadiete and Isabella Ludwig scored in the first half before Refilwe Tholakele and Boitumelo Rabale added second-half goals.

The result kept Banyana Ba Style at the summit and increased their advantage over University of Western Cape (UWC), their nearest challengers.

Sundowns have now scored 30 goals this season and remain unbeaten defensively, having yet to concede. Goalkeeper Andile Dlamini has recorded seven clean sheets in her eight appearances.
