Zamalek refer Khaled Abdel Nasser and Adam Mousa to investigation after on-court altercation

Zamalek’s basketball department has referred players Khaled Abdel Nasser and Adam Mousa for investigation after an altercation during their Basketball Linked League match against Al Jazira on Sunday.

The incident took place on court at Zamalek Club during the team’s third match of the Egyptian Basketball Linked League campaign.

The club said the investigation would establish the details of what happened and allow both players to give their accounts before an appropriate decision is made. It added that the confrontation occurred in the context of the match and the competition on court.

Zamalek were beaten 77-57 by Al Jazira, who controlled the game from start to finish and were the stronger side throughout.

The match was played at Zamalek Club’s basketball hall.

Mohamed Selim “Soly” has been in charge of Zamalek since the start of the current season.
