Egypt’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures and Group B details

Egypt will begin their bid to reach the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations in Group B alongside Angola, Malawi and South Sudan, with the full schedule and broadcast details now set out.

Led by brothers Hossam Hassan and Ibrahim Hassan, Egypt are aiming to restore their standing in African football during the qualifying campaign for the tournament, which will be staged in Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya next year.

Egypt have made more appearances at the Africa Cup of Nations than any other team and hold the competition’s record for titles, having won the trophy seven times. Qualification will therefore be regarded as the minimum expectation by supporters.
