Ivory Coast secured a 2-1 victory against Togo in the 2013 UEMOA Tournament, a competition hosted by the Ivory Coast. In the first group A match, Ivory Coast took the lead with a goal by Koffi Davy Boua in the 12th minute. Cheick Moukoro added a second goal for Ivory Coast after the break. Togo made a late comeback with Kondo Arimiyaou scoring in the 79th minute, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome. Togo will face Burkina Faso and Mali in their upcoming matches in the tournament.
