Adnan Beganovic return to TS Galaxy remains possible amid Bernard Parker uncertainty

A return to TS Galaxy for former coach Adnan Beganovic remains a possibility, with the Bosnian now available and understood to be open to considering a move back to the club.

The 2025/26 season has brought renewed uncertainty over Bernard Parker’s position, with TS Galaxy weighing up possible changes to its technical team after the FIFA international break following another difficult result.

Beganovic, who holds a UEFA Pro Licence, left the Rockets in April and is understood to have spent time dealing with pressing family matters. He is now considering his next move, with the Premier Soccer League (PSL) still among the options under consideration.

Although there has been no formal approach from TS Galaxy, Beganovic has retained a positive relationship with chairman Tim Sukazi. The pair are understood to have stayed in contact since the coach’s departure.

“They have a good relationship, and they have remained in communication. There has been no formal approach from the club about bringing him back, but you cannot rule out that possibility,” a source told the Siya crew.

Beganovic was recently strongly linked with Richards Bay FC, but the KwaZulu-Natal club appointed Dimitar Pantev earlier this week. The coach is believed to have other opportunities available, so a return to TS Galaxy is not his only option.

However, sources indicate that Beganovic would be willing to return to the Rockets if the opportunity arose. His existing relationship with the club could therefore make him a candidate if TS Galaxy decides to alter its coaching structure.

Parker succeeded Beganovic after his departure late last season. The former Bafana Bafana striker guided the side through a five-match unbeaten run, a sequence that helped TS Galaxy retain its Premiership status.

That achievement earned Parker Sukazi’s support to lead the team into the 2026/27 campaign. But seven matches into the new season, questions remain over his future as the club considers whether to make a change after the international break.

Parker is expected to take up another position within the technical team if TS Galaxy proceeds with a coaching change. At present, though, there is no agreement or formal approach relating to Beganovic’s possible return.

The Rockets’ next league fixture is away to Orlando Pirates on October 18.
