Oday Dabbagh scores as Palestine draw 2-2 with New Zealand

Palestine drew 2-2 with New Zealand in a friendly international tournament in China, with Zamalek forward Oday Dabbagh among the scorers.

Assad Hamalawi and Dabbagh scored Palestine’s goals in the match, which was played at Longcheng Stadium.

Dabbagh started in attack alongside Petrojet player Badr Mousa, while Palestine’s midfield included Ameed Sawafteh of Al Masry and Hamed Hamdan of Pyramids.

Zamalek midfielder Adam Kaied also featured after coming on as a substitute.

Palestine will play their next match against China on Friday.

The goal took Dabbagh’s international tally to 18 in 54 appearances for Palestine. He made his international debut in March 2018.

Dabbagh has been a Zamalek player since the start of last season, having joined the Egyptian club from Belgian side Charleroi.

He has scored 14 goals in 50 matches for Zamalek. However, Dabbagh has made seven appearances for the club this season without scoring, although he has provided three assists.
