Egypt v Libya among North Africa Under-20 qualifiers to be shown live on On Sport

On Sport will broadcast the North Africa tournament, which serves as a qualifying competition for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations Under-20.

The tournament will be held in Ismailia from 21 September to 6 October 2026, with matches taking place at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium and Ismailia Stadium.

On Sport 1 will show Algeria’s match against Tunisia at 16:30, before Egypt face Libya at 20:00 on the same channel.

Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria are taking part in the competition, with two teams set to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Ghana in February 2027.

Four teams from that tournament will then qualify for the next Under-20 World Cup.

The 2027 Fifa Under-20 World Cup will be staged in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan during May and June 2027, with 24 teams participating.

Egypt will begin their qualifying campaign against Libya on 24 September in the opening round at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium.

They will face Tunisia on 30 September in the third round of matches, also at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium.

Egypt’s next fixture will be against Morocco on 3 October in the fourth round, again at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium.

The team will complete their qualifying schedule against Algeria on 6 October in the fifth round at the same venue.
