Egypt Cup: Minya and Aluminium reach the fourth preliminary round

Minya and Aluminium have secured their places in the fourth preliminary round of the Egypt Cup after contrasting victories in the third round.

Minya beat El Nasr Mining 2-0, while Aluminium produced the biggest result of the round by defeating Nasser El Fekreya 6-0.

The third preliminary round also saw top-flight sides Ismaily and Haras El Hodoud eliminated from the competition.

Ismaily lost 1-0 to El Rabat and Al Anwar, while Haras El Hodoud were beaten by Samannoud by the same score.

The fourth preliminary round, which is the round of 64, will feature the following ties:
