Milan plan to keep Christian Pulisic beyond current contract

Milan are preparing to open talks with Christian Pulisic over a new contract, despite the United States forward’s current deal running until the end of the 2027/2028 season.

The Athletic reports that the Italian club want to retain the 28-year-old, who joined Milan permanently from Chelsea in 2023.

Milan’s intention to keep Pulisic was underlined by their decision to reject an offer from New York City for the player during last summer’s transfer window.

Pulisic spent the summer recovering from a stress fracture in the front of his foot, an injury he sustained while representing the United States at the World Cup.

He has played two Serie A matches for Milan this season, scoring once and providing one assist.
