Pyramids striker Ahmed Nadhir Ben Bouali faces three-week injury layoff

Pyramids FC striker Ahmed Nadhir Ben Bouali is expected to spend around three weeks on the sidelines as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.

The Algerian forward sustained the injury during Pyramids’ match against El Gouna and was subsequently diagnosed with a hamstring tear, ruling him out of the Algerian national team camp during the current international break.

Meanwhile, the newly signed Pyramids striker needs approximately three weeks to recover before he can return to official matches.

Ben Bouali is currently undergoing treatment and a rehabilitation programme under the supervision of Pyramids’ medical team, with his eventual return date dependent on how he responds to the programme and the progress of his recovery.

The club’s medical staff are using the international break to work with the Algerian striker on his rehabilitation, with the aim of having him ready to rejoin the team once domestic action resumes.

Pyramids are scheduled to face Al Qanah on October 8 in the opening round of the Egypt Cup group stage, before taking on Ceramica Cleopatra in the Egyptian Premier League on October 12.

The club will continue to monitor Ben Bouali’s condition in the coming weeks before determining whether he will be fit enough to feature in either fixture.
