Moroccan outfit Maghreb de Fès set October 10 for elective General Assembly

Moroccan football club Maghreb de Fès have announced that Saturday, October 10, 2026, will be the date for their Ordinary Elective General Assembly, where members will elect a new president and board of directors.

The assembly will mark an important moment for the club as it prepares to appoint a new leadership team to succeed outgoing president Mohamed Bouzoubaa.

The election will be conducted under the slate system, meaning candidates will run as lists alongside their proposed board members and programmes.

As part of the preparations for the assembly, Maghreb de Fès have opened the nomination process for the club presidency.

Interested candidates have been invited to submit their application dossiers to the club’s administration offices at the Saadiyin grounds in the Ville Nouvelle area. The deadline for submissions is 4:00 PM on Friday, October 2, 2026.

The club has also outlined the key items on the agenda for the elective assembly.

Members will first review the club’s activity report, which is expected to provide an overview of the institution’s sporting and administrative activities during the period under review.

The financial report will also be presented, giving members the opportunity to examine the club’s financial situation, while the auditor’s report will be discussed as part of the statutory proceedings.

Another important item will be the formal acceptance of the resignation of the current board of directors, paving the way for the election of a new leadership structure.

Following the administrative and financial reviews, the accepted candidate lists and their respective programmes will be presented to members before the voting process begins.

Members will then proceed to elect the new president and board of directors who will take charge of the club for the next phase.

Maghreb de Fès are yet to announce the exact venue and starting time for the General Assembly, with the club expected to communicate those details at a later date.

Participation in the assembly will be limited to members who satisfy the legal and regulatory requirements governing eligibility to attend and vote.
