Raphinha five goals from matching Ronaldinho in Barcelona’s Brazilian scoring rankings

Raphinha’s prolific start to the season has taken him to within five goals of Ronaldinho in Barcelona’s list of highest-scoring Brazilian players.

The Barcelona captain has scored 89 goals in 185 appearances for the Catalan club, placing him fifth among the club’s Brazilian goalscorers.

Ronaldinho scored 94 goals in 207 matches for Barcelona, meaning Raphinha needs only five more to draw level with his compatriot.

Neymar and Evaristo share second place on the list, with 105 goals each. Raphinha’s current scoring rate means he could overtake both players during the current season if he maintains his attacking form.

Rivaldo remains Barcelona’s leading Brazilian goalscorer, having scored 130 goals in 235 appearances. Reaching that total this season would therefore represent a significantly more difficult target for Raphinha.

Raphinha is also leading the La Liga scoring charts with 12 goals. He is five goals clear of Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe and Barcelona team-mate Lamine Yamal.

The Brazil winger has scored consecutive hat-tricks, first finding the net three times against Racing Santander on matchday six of La Liga before repeating the feat against Sevilla.

Against Sevilla, Raphinha scored with his head, right foot and left foot. It was the first time a Barcelona player had achieved that since Luis Suarez scored a hat-trick against Cordoba in 2015.

Raphinha has scored 12 goals in La Liga during the 2026-2027 season, making him the third player in the 21st century to reach that figure within the first seven matches of his team’s campaign in the competition.

The players listed before him are Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Messi scored 10 goals for Barcelona in the 2011-2012 season and 11 in the 2017-2018 campaign, while Ronaldo scored 13 goals for Real Madrid during the 2014-2015 season.
