Mohamed Abdelmonem starts for Nice against Lille for fourth successive match

Mohamed Abdelmonem has been named in Nice’s starting line-up for their Ligue 1 meeting with Lille on matchday five.

The match will be played at Nice’s stadium at 17:45.

It is the fourth consecutive game in which Abdelmonem has started for Nice. The Egypt international came on as a substitute in the opening-round fixture, but has been included from the beginning in each match since.

The defender is making his 22nd appearance for the French club since joining from Al Ahly.

Nice go into the match at the bottom of the Ligue 1 table with two points from two draws and two defeats.

Lille are fourth on 10 points.
