Real Madrid start Tchouameni as Vinicius Junior leads attack against Atletico

Jose Mourinho has named his Real Madrid starting XI for the La Liga meeting with Atletico Madrid at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano.

Aurelien Tchouameni returns to the starting line-up for the match, while Bernardo Silva is among the substitutes.

Real Madrid go into the seventh round of the league season second in the table with 15 points, six behind leaders Barcelona.

Mourinho has selected a front three of Arda Guler, Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior, with Jude Bellingham joining Tchouameni and Federico Valverde in midfield.

Thibaut Courtois starts in goal, while Denzel Dumfries, Ibrahima Konate, Dean Huijsen and Marc Cucurella make up the defence.
