Haitham Hassan made his appearance for Celtic in the 70th minute of their Scottish league meeting with Rangers, coming on for Duran.
Hassan had been named among Celtic’s substitutes before kick-off, with live coverage following the match minute by minute.
Celtic thought they had taken an early lead in the fifth minute, but Trusty’s goal was ruled out for offside.
Kieran Tierney then went close to opening the scoring in the 29th minute, only for his shot to strike the crossbar.
Rangers went in front three minutes later. Ryan Naderi followed up to score after the goalkeeper had saved Djeidi Gassama’s effort.
Gassama nearly added a second for Rangers in the 35th minute when he went through one-on-one and attempted to lift the ball over the goalkeeper, but his effort hit the post.
Rangers led 1-0 at half-time. Celtic and Rangers then began the second half, before Hassan was introduced for Duran in the 70th minute.
