Ramadan Sobhi’s appeal against a four-year suspension has been rejected by the Swiss Federal Court, leaving the Pyramids player unable to take part in any football-related activity until 2029.
The case concerns the manipulation of a doping sample. The International Sports Court imposed the four-year ban in November 2025 after ruling against Sobhi.
Sobhi appealed the decision in June, seeking to have the length of the suspension reduced. The Swiss Federal Court has now upheld the original ruling.
The suspension also affects Sobhi’s club situation. Although he is contracted to Pyramids until 2028, the agreement has been suspended for the duration of his ban.
