Following the cancellation of the friendly match between Spain and Gabon due to timing issues, the South African Football Federation (SAFA) has announced an agreement with the Spanish Football Federation to hold a friendly match on November 19. The match will take place in Johannesburg at FNB Stadium.
This will be the third time that Spain plays in South Africa, with previous appearances during the Confederations Cup in 2009 and the 2010 World Cup. The agreement provides Spain with a new opponent after the cancellation of the match against Gabon and Russia’s decision not to proceed.
