Juventus consider free-agent goalkeepers Neto and Sergio Rico after Kamil Grabara injury

Juventus are searching for a free-agent goalkeeper after Kamil Grabara suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

The Poland international has been diagnosed with a torn ACL and is expected to undergo surgery. According to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, the 27-year-old is likely to miss the rest of the current season.

Italian outlet Calciomercato reports that Juventus are now considering bringing in another goalkeeper to cover for Grabara. Neto, who previously played for Juventus, and former Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Sergio Rico are understood to be the leading candidates.

Grabara had made an impressive start to his Juventus career after joining the club from Wolfsburg on loan last summer. His temporary move is due to run until the end of the current season.

The goalkeeper made his Juventus debut against Nijmegen in the Europa League and marked the occasion by setting up the opening goal for team-mate Nicolas Gonzalez.

Juventus went on to win that match 5-0 in the opening round of the Europa League league phase.
