Borussia Dortmund preserved their 100% record in the Bundesliga with a hard-fought 1-0 victory away to Stuttgart.
Maximilian Beier scored the only goal of the game in the 70th minute, finishing directly into the net after Job Bellingham’s cross reached him in front of goal.
The result gave Dortmund 12 points from their opening four matches and kept them at the top of the table. They have won every league game so far this season.
Bayern Munich are second, two points behind the leaders, while Stuttgart remain on three points in 14th place.
Dortmund’s victory also marked the first time in 11 years that they have opened a Bundesliga campaign with four consecutive wins.
They will return to action after the international break when they host Werder Bremen on Friday 9 October. Stuttgart’s next match is against Paderborn on Saturday 10 October.
