Arsenal consider January move for Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi

Arsenal are monitoring Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi and could make an approach during the January transfer window, according to Football London.

The Gunners’ interest is dependent on the 20-year-old making a full recovery from his injury. If he returns to fitness, Arsenal could explore the possibility of signing the forward in January.

Kroupi made a strong impression for Bournemouth last season, scoring 13 goals. His performances strengthened his reputation and attracted interest from several European clubs, including Arsenal.

Bournemouth are not expected to make his departure straightforward. The club are believed to have set a high asking price and would only consider selling if they receive an offer of more than 92 million euros.

That valuation reflects the importance Bournemouth place on Kroupi, who remains under contract with the Cherries until June 2030. His long-term deal gives the club a strong negotiating position should Arsenal decide to pursue him.

Transfermarkt currently estimates Kroupi’s value at 70 million euros, meaning Arsenal would probably need to pay considerably more than that figure to persuade Bournemouth to sell.

Kroupi earns an annual salary of 1,192,975 euros, equivalent to 775,433,750 FCFA.

Bournemouth’s next fixture is against Liverpool in the fifth round of the English championship.
