Omar Marmoush’s wait for a goal has reached 129 days after the Egypt striker failed to score in Tottenham Hotspur’s 3-1 defeat by Aston Villa in the fifth round of the Premier League.
Marmoush started the match but could not find the net as Tottenham suffered another loss without recording a league victory this season.
The 27-year-old has not scored since finding the net for his former club Manchester City against Crystal Palace on 13 May 2026.
That goal remains Marmoush’s most recent, with the forward now having gone 16 consecutive matches without scoring for Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Egypt.
Tottenham’s defeat by Aston Villa was their third in the league campaign. They have also drawn twice and remain without a win.
Marmoush joined Tottenham Hotspur at the beginning of the current season after leaving Manchester City.
