FIFA court rules in favour of Egyptian coach Tamer Abdelkader Saeed in Al-Taraji Saudi case

Egyptian coach Tamer Abdelkader Saeed has won his international legal case against Al-Taraji Saudi before the FIFA Football Tribunal.

The tribunal ruled that Saeed is entitled to receive his unpaid financial dues, along with interest calculated under Swiss law.

Its decision was based on the legal arguments submitted by the coach’s representative, international sports lawyer Ralph Charbel.

Both parties presented their legal submissions in two stages during the proceedings. The case was then decided by the single judge of the Players’ Status Chamber, who accepted the coach’s financial claims.

FIFA also imposed a financial penalty on Al-Taraji Saudi. The club must pay that fine to FIFA within 30 days of being notified of the decision.

Al-Taraji Saudi has a separate deadline of 45 days to settle Saeed’s outstanding payments. Failure to do so will result in the club being banned from registering new players.
