Yves Djedje joins LB Chateauroux after leaving US Granville
Ivory Coast winger Yves Djedje has joined French club LB Chateauroux after a spell without a club, adding a 28-year-old right-sided attacker to their squad.
Djedje’s move to Chateauroux follows his departure from US Granville, whom he left on 1 July 2026. He had spent two seasons with Granville after joining from Racing CFF in July 2024.
The Yopougon-born player has built his career in French football, operating primarily as a right winger and favouring his right foot. His arrival gives Chateauroux an attacking player with experience across France’s National leagues and the Coupe de France.
Djedje has made 118 appearances in National 1, scoring 11 goals and providing 12 assists across the competition’s different groups. He has also featured 21 times in National 2 and played in 11 Coupe de France matches, registering two assists in the domestic cup.
Before his time at Granville, Djedje represented Racing CFF, having joined the club from AS Poissy in January 2023. He moved to AS Poissy from Noisy-le-Sec in July 2020, with each of those transfers recorded as free moves.
His latest switch takes him to Chateauroux’s National 1 – Group C campaign. The club’s new winger arrives with experience of the level, having spent much of his recent career competing in National 1 and contributing goals and assists from the right flank.
Djedje’s previous National 1 record includes 71 appearances in one group, where he scored eight goals and supplied eight assists, followed by 29 appearances in another group, with two goals and four assists. He also scored once in 18 appearances in a further National 1 group.
The Ivorian’s move comes after he became a free agent following his exit from Granville earlier in 2026. Chateauroux have now secured his services, with the transfer completed on 18 September 2026.
