Algeria defender Alilet joins Espérance on three-year deal

Algeria international Adem Alilet has completed a move to Espérance de Tunis after leaving Libyan club Al Ittihad, signing a three-year contract with the Tunisian champions.

The 24-year-old defender joins one of Africa’s most successful clubs as Espérance continue to strengthen their squad for domestic and continental competitions.

The Tunis club confirmed Alilet’s arrival after reaching an agreement for the centre-back, who has established himself as one of Algeria’s emerging defensive talents.

Alilet’s move brings an end to his spell with Al Ittihad, where he featured in Libyan football before attracting interest from the four-time African champions.

His arrival adds further depth to Espérance’s defensive options as the club prepares for another campaign in the Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1 and the CAF Champions League.
