Mbappe joins On as global ambassador in move away from Nike

“What attracted me to On was the chance to build something entirely new,” Mbappe said. He will contribute his experience and vision to the development of the company’s football products, with the aim of pushing the limits of innovation while preserving the human side and pleasure of the game.

The agreement gives Mbappe a central role in shaping On’s football strategy. He will work with the company’s product teams and athletes, taking part in the design and testing of new boots and equipment.

On, which was founded in the Swiss Alps in 2010, is entering football for the first time. The company plans to use its LightSpray technology to develop lightweight and precise football boots designed to fit the foot like a “second skin”.
