Rowan Elaraby of Wadi Degla has reached the semi-finals of the 2026 Nash Cup in London after beating Haya Ali 3-0 in the last eight.
The tournament has a total prize fund of $67,500, with $33,750 allocated to the men’s competition and the same amount for the women’s event.
Elaraby secured a convincing victory in 28 minutes, taking the three games 11-8, 11-8, 11-6.
The 26-year-old Egyptian will face Canada’s Zeina Zain in Friday’s semi-final, with a place in the final on 19 September at stake.
Elaraby is aiming to become the first Egyptian women’s champion at the tournament since Kenzy El Defrawy won the title in 2014.
