Four Pyramids players have joined Egypt’s training camp after completing their club’s domestic fixtures.
Mohannad Lasheen, Karim Hafez, Mostafa Ziko and Mahmoud Saber reported for international duty after Pyramids defeated Eastern Company Enppi 2-1. The result sent them top of the table after five rounds.
Egypt began their camp on Thursday, with the Al Ahly players taking part from the first day. The national side will face Angola and South Sudan in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers before playing South Africa in a friendly.

Egypt are in Group B of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying competition alongside Angola, South Sudan and Malawi.
They will play Angola on Friday, 25 September, at Cairo International Stadium. Egypt will then travel to face South Sudan on 29 September, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00 Cairo time.
Their final fixture in this sequence will be a friendly against South Africa on 4 October.
The 2027 Africa Cup of Nations will be hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda from 19 June to 17 July 2027.
