Former Wydad AC forward Mohamed Rayhi joins Jordanian outfit Al-Hussein Irbid
Jordanian club Al-Hussein Irbid have completed the signing of former Wydad AC attacker Mohamed Rayhi.
Rayhi arrives at Al-Hussein Irbid following his spell with Moroccan giants Wydad AC, where he spent the 2024 campaign and established himself as an important attacking option.
“From the land of the free… to the land of the Nashama [the brave]: Rayhi joins the ‘Royal Club.’ Moroccan player Mohamed Rayhi is the newest addition to the Royal squad—welcome to the Royal Club… the pride of the nation.” Wrote the club.
The forward made 55 appearances for Wydad across various competitions, finding the net 11 times during his time with the Casablanca-based club.
His experience in Moroccan football and his ability to contribute in the attacking third are expected to strengthen Al-Hussein Irbid as they prepare for the challenges of the new season.
The move also gives Rayhi an opportunity to begin a fresh chapter in his career after leaving Wydad, with the Jordanian club hoping that his experience and attacking qualities will prove valuable to their ambitions.
Al-Hussein Irbid have moved quickly to welcome their new signing, presenting Rayhi as the latest addition to their squad and expressing their excitement at having the Moroccan attacker join the “Royal Club.”
Rayhi will now look to adapt to his new surroundings and make an immediate impact in Jordanian football as he begins his latest challenge with Al-Hussein Irbid.
