Alidu Seidu set to join OGC Nice from Stade Rennais FC

Ghanaian defender Alidu Seidu has arrived in Nice and is due to undergo a medical on Friday morning as he completes his move from Stade Rennais FC.

The transfer is expected to be officially confirmed early on Friday afternoon, subject to there being no issues with the medical examination.

OGC Nice and Stade Rennais FC have reached an agreement over the terms of the deal. The two clubs have also agreed that Stade Rennais FC will continue to cover part of Seidu’s wages during the period of his engagement with OGC Nice.

However, the agreement does not include an option to buy.

Stade Rennais FC had been seeking a fee of close to 11 million euros in order to retain a buy-back clause, but OGC Nice were unwilling to accept those terms.
