Juventus are in complete control against NEC Nijmegen, leading 3-0 at the break in their Europa League match at the Allianz Stadium. Luciano Spalletti’s side dominated the opening 45 minutes and established a commanding advantage before half-time.
Nicolas Gonzalez put Juventus ahead after nine minutes, capitalising when Polster failed to deal with a long ball from Grabara. The Italian side doubled their lead in the 24th minute, Kerim Alajbegovic finding the top corner with a well-placed strike.
Nick Woltemade then converted a penalty in the 35th minute to make it 3-0 and cap an emphatic first-half display by the hosts.
NEC have struggled to create a serious threat, with Linssen and Thomas both attempting efforts without beating Grabara. The Dutch side were also forced to make an early change when Bischoff went off injured in the 32nd minute, with Geiger coming on in his place.
Juventus therefore go into half-time with a three-goal lead.
